All practices for REGIONAL AND LOCAL teams will end the week of May 14th.
Monday-Wednesdays May 14th and 16th (last day of practice is May 16th)
Tuesday-Thursdays May 15th and 17th (last day of practice is May 17th)

May 8th and 10th will be held at JIS 7:00-8:30
May 15th and 17th will be at our JJVA facility 7:30 -9:00

Gail DeLisle- Leave of Absence
Gail DeLisle started out with JJVA as a parent of a player and a volunteer worker eight years ago. She originally offered her services in travel and project management for JJVA and has served the club diligently in these positions for many years. When our previous bookkeeper became ill, Gail also accepted this role and has been handling finances, travel and tournament administration ever since.  Now someone in Gail’s family has become seriously ill and she wishes to take extended time off to assist her parents and her family member as they go through a difficult and life threatening illness. We feel Gail deserves the time off and a chance to be with her family in their time of need. Gail will be on extended leave from JJVA as she takes time for her family and herself after so many years of dedicated work. We will miss her in this serious and important time for her family and we wish her the best.

Amy Wheatley – Moving to Virginia
Our marketing and fundraising director, Amy Wheatley will be moving to Virginia in the next few months. Her husband has a new job opportunity there and she will join him as soon as she sells or rents her house and school is over for her son. Amy is a familiar face in the office as she often fills in at the desk and works the tournaments at the JJVA Center. Amy has done a great job in marketing our programs through new forms of communication and networking. We will miss her when she leaves.
