Mary Andrew is the President and Chief Operating Officer of JJVA. She has held this position since the founding of JJVA in 1989.
Various parents and other interested parties make up the remainder of the board of directors.
The coaching staff is a mixture of collegiate and high school coaches, supplemented by various current and former college players.

What is the population served by JJVA?

As per our charter, we serve school age students in and around Jacksonville.
The programs break down into the following approximate numbers:
- National teams: ~50 players November thru May
- Regional teams: ~120 players December thru April
- Leagues: ~40 to 60 per 6-week league, running all year
- Camps: ~40 to 200 per camp, run at various times through the year

How are the programs funded?

Most programs are funded by the participants. Some participants raise fund by soliciting individual donations.
A portion of the end of year unused funding is dedicated to a need-based scholarship program for the following year.
A fund raising committee provides activities, including a media guide, and concessions at home tournaments.
Grants, corporate and private contributions are solicited as the opportunities are discovered.
