Adis,
is currently the JJVA Club Director
and National Program Director as
well the coach of the JJVA 16N Team.
His first year as Club Director, his
National Program sent two teams to
the USAV National Tournament in the
summer of 2007 and Adis received
Director of the Year awarded by the
USAV.
Adis, has been coaching for
our National program for three
years.
Currently, Adis, joined the
FCCJ staff for the first time this
season. His extensive resume
includes playing experience in
Boznia and Germany and assistant coaching experience at Northern Iowa
University and the University of North Florida.
In
addition he manages leagues, clinics
and camps for the JJVA. Adis has a
great relationship with the local
and national volleyball communities.

John,
has been with JJVA for many years,
currently as Asst Coach of the JJVA
18N team. A
graduate of the University of North Florida,
John has coached volleyball for
eight years; the past four, as Head
Coach at Episcopal High School.
John's experience goes beyond
volleyball to soccer and basketball.
He assisted Episcopal JV Soccer
since 2004 and was JV Head Coach at
Stanton Prep. HS. He has
also been an assistant to the
Episcopal Middle School boys
basketball team since 2006.
John is CAP I certified.

Janice,
has been coaching with JJVA for
since 2001. A graduate of FCCJ
('03) and Georgia Southern ('05)
Pressley just completed her first
season with the UNF volleyball
program. Prior to UNF, Pressley was
the head coach at Bartram Trail High
School. The Orange Park, Fla.,
native was a middle blocker for
Georgia Southern from 2003-05, where
she recorded 467 career kills and
179 total blocks. In 2003, she
helped lead the Eagles to a Southern
Conference Championship and a berth
in the NCAA Tournament, where they
fell to eventual runner-up Florida
in the first round.
Before attending GSU, she played at
FCCJ from 2001-03. In 2002, Pressley
earned all-conference honors after
recording 410 kills and 153 blocks
while helping lead FCCJ to a 30-6
record and No. 13 national ranking.

Janice Pressley

|
CJ,
has coached for JJVA for 5 years and
is currently the Varsity Assistant
coach at Nease HS.
Working for Bring it USA
Promotions, she handles tours for
NCAA, II, III, NAIA and Junior
Clubs, taking teams on international
tours.
A graduate of Covenant College; earning
her Bachelor’s in Education, CJ
began her collegiate volleyball
career earning NAIA All Conference
and All Region honors.
Her successful collegiate
head coaching career includes Palm
Beach Atlantic University (88-94),
University of South Carolina Aiken
(94-98), and University of
Montevallo (99-04), with an overall
337 wins/188 losses, with two
back-to-back 30 win seasons, 7 times
Coach of the Year, 34 All-Conference
players, 21 Academic All Conference,
3 Conference Players of the Year,
and 5 All-Americans; garnering 8
Conference Championships, 5 Regional
appearances, 2 Championships and 2
National appearances.
Over 18 of her former
collegiate players coach high
school, club or at college level.
CJ is a member of the AVCA
and USAV and currently holds
certificates for the CAP level 2,
IMPACT CADRE and an Educator’s
Certificate for Athletic Coaching
(K-12) from the State of Florida
Dept. of Education.
During her current HS
coaching tenure the Varsity team has
been in the Elite 8, twice and to
FHSAA 4A State Final Four, twice;
amassing a 104-24 record.
CJ has helped coach 10
players to the All State Team, 3
consecutive County Players of the Year, and 17 All County
players and 9 former Nease players
are currently playing in college.
CJ has switched her focus to
coaching, touring and watching her
two beautiful daughters, Meghan (19)
a Freshman Setter at the University of Tampa,
and Kamryn (15) a Freshman Setter at
Nease high school and Jacksonville
Juniors, play volleyball.

JOHN,
is
coaching his 1st year with JJVA as
Assistant Coach of the JJVA
15N Team.
He earned his B.S. in
Education at Southern Illinois
University with an M.S. in
Psychology/Mental Health Counseling
from Nova Southeastern
University.
John
began his coaching career in 1973 in Ocala where he taught P.E.
and coached JHS Boys and Girls
Football, Basketball and Volleyball.
From
the
late 1970-80s, John coached and
played on the Jacksonville Sheriff’s
Office Basketball and Volleyball
teams winning gold and silver medals
at annual Police Olympics
competitions across the state and
nationally John played beach ball in
the “old” USVBA and from 1982-1989
he coached in the National
Wheelchair Basketball Association
with the local team, River City
Rollers. In 1986, John was Assistant
Coach for the NWBA, USA Men’s Team,
which competed in the World Games at
the Stoke Mandeville Paralympics
Center in England, highlighted by a
demonstration game vs. Team Espana
that John coached before the
International Olympic Committee in
Madrid, Spain, during the FIBA World
Championships just prior to the
championship game between the USA
and USSR. John
has
spent the last six years cheering on
his two daughters, Taelor & Mariah
during their high school and JJVA
Club experiences.

Rico,
has coached for JJVA for over 5
years and currently coaches at Nease
H.S. A graduate of the
University of North Florida, earning
a B.S. in Computer Information
Systems, Rico is on faculty at
Mandarin H.S. teaching
Computer Apps and VB Programming in
the Computer Technology Dept.
Rico worked as a Navy Corpsman,
Phlebotomist and Programmer Analyst.

Magen,
is
coaching for the first time this
year as an Assistant of the 14N
team. Magen played volleyball
at the University of Akron for 2
seasons and then at UNF for 2
seasons. After graduating from UNF
as an education major, this Ohio
native, now resides in Jacksonville
and is teaching.

Jose,
has been Regional Program Director
for JJVA for two years and has been
a JJVA coach for over 5 years with
our National Teams Program, this
year coaching the JJVA 17R team this
season.
Currently, and for the past five
years, Jose is the assistant coach
at FCCJ. His extensive resume of
coaching experience includes
Division I Assistant Coach at
Mississippi
State and Head Coach at Jacksonville State. Jose,
served as a coach for the Florida
High Performance Team and as a Head
Coach for the White Sands Volleyball
Club. He is currently finishing up
his USA Volleyball CAP III
Certification and is a member of the
USAV Florida Regional Teaching
Cadre. Jose played collegiate
baseball in
Livingston, Alabama
and gained valuable volleyball
playing experience in his native Puerto Rico. He currently teaches full time for the Duval
County School System at the

and is married to wife Leanna.

Sherrene,
a
Jacksonville
born native, attended
Paxon
High School after which,
she attended FCCJ on scholarship,
winning All Conference and other
various honors.
Upon receiving a second
scholarship, Sherrene finished up
playing volleyball at
Armstrong
Atlantic State
University in
Savannah,
Georgia where again, she
received All conference. While
there, she worked camps and coaching
at local Johnson High School.
Currently, and since 1997,
Sherrene has worked at Stanton
College Prep teaching Health / PhyEd,
where she earned a nomination for
Teach of the Year 2001.
During her tenure at Stanton
Prep, she has coached basketball,
track, and volleyball; wining Gate
Conference in volleyball three years
running, making it to the Duval
County Volleyball Championships.
She has coached with JJVA
since 2000 and FCCJ and JJVA camps
since 1999.

Jessica
is
new to JJVA in her 1st coaching
position as an Assistant Coach of
the 17R Team, but she is still
playing volleyball herself.
This 5'9" left-handed sophomore
setter, is ranked 14th in the Nation
in assists per game, and just
finished her final season as Team
Captain, with the Nationally ranked
16th, Florida Community College
"Stars" volleyball team; Mid-Florida
Conference Champions and Atlantic
District Runners-up, with a final
team finish of 24-9. Jessica's
honors include 1st Team
All-Conference, selected to the
Florida Region All-State/All-Region
team (top 12 players in FL),
selected to the Regional
All-Tournament Team, and 26 Oct
FCCAA “Player of the Week” honors
with a two-game total of 22
kills (0.714%), 184 assists (11.5
per game), 50 digs and 12 blocks.

Sarah,
has
coached club volleyball for 3 years;
the last two years at JJVA as an
assistant coach and one year as an
assistant coach at
SAVA.
Sarah was head coach of
Cathedral
Parish
School
in
St.
Augustine,
Florida.
Currently Sarah is a student-athlete
at Flagler College where she participates
on
the womens volleyball team.
Sarah played in 33 of Flagler’s 35
matches her Freshman year and was
awarded back-to-back Florida Sun
Conference Libero of the Week. She
was second on the team in digs with
278, also tallying 19 service aces
while recording a season-high 25
digs at Webber International.
Her Sophomore year, Sarah played in
38 matches (125 games), setting a
school record with 494 digs, also
registering 28 service aces while
collecting a season-high 29 digs
against Webber International.
In High Schoo, sarah, lettered four
years in volleyball and was a
two-time All-Conference selection.
Sarah herself played for the JJVA
club for five years.

Erin,
an Orlando-born
native, and attended
Oviedo
High School where she played
volleyball on the Varsity team.
While in high school, she played two
years of Club volleyball with the
Orlando
Volleyball
Academy.
After high school, choosing to focus
on academics, Erin did not play in
college, where she attended at
Florida State University
in
Tallahassee.
Upon graduating from college,
Erin coached for Todd Kress' Florida State
Volleyball Camp for three years and
coached Club ball with
North
Florida
Volleyball
Academy in
Tallahassee, before
moving to Jacksonville. Currently, Erin is the
Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach
at Fletcher High School in
Neptune Beach,
Florida.
This is Erin’s
first season with JJVA as head coach
of the 16R-Erin team.

Claire Yonutas has coached with JJVA for

Currently Claire is a student
athlete attending University of North
Florida (UNF) majoring in Health
Administration.
