Travel Team Program Philosophy
The JJVA Travel Program is designed to train dedicated volleyball athletes in an attempt to expose those athletes to competitive and challenging match environments to further their development and growth in the sport. Our goal within this program is to encourage athletes to pursue and further expose athletes to competitive volleyball at the highest levels of club and collegiate volleyball. Our measurement of excellence is founded in our teams competing at the top levels in Florida and nationally in the most competitive divisions for each team, as well as our long-standing commitment to helping athletes pursue volleyball at the collegiate level.

USAV Membership & Sports Engine (Available starting Sept. 1)
- All travel team athletes must have a USAV membership to participate in practices and tournaments during the 2023-24 season.
- All players playing on 12U-17U will require a 2023-24 Junior Player Membership.
- All players on an 18U team will require a 2023-24 18s Player Membership and must complete safe sport requirements.

- All travel team athletes must have an AAU membership for the 2023-24 Season.

2023-24 Season Information
Training Structure
We aim to create travel teams in (Edge, Teal, Black, Gold, and White) per age group where talent and skill allow (11U-18U).

All travel teams will train on the same evenings based on their age group’s time slot. Director of Volleyball Adis Imamovic and technical directors Ashley Monfort & John Alipio will design practices.
IMPENDING ABSENCE NOTIFICATION FORM
If you plan to be absent from a practice or game, submit the impending absence form (Link Above) to your coach BEFORE the scheduled absence.
TEAM PRACTICE AND TOURNAMENT CALENDAR
**Parents: Please note that practices will be closed. No parents will be allowed to sit by the courts but are welcome to sit in the cafe.**
All Training is conducted by JJVA Staff Coaches and Travel Team Coaches. All Tue/Thu/Sun practices will consist of Positional Training, Team Training, and 6 vs. 6 Wash Drills.
