Kamryn Sherman

National Coach
JJVA Alumni
15N John

Kamryn Sherman was raised in a volleyball gym.  Having a Mom-Coach is what lead to such an extraordinary upbringing. Kamryn played volleyball since 2000 with mini club being her first experience.  She played through Middle and High school on her school teams and for the Birmingham Volleyball Club (Birmingham, AL) and JJVA Jacksonville Juniors.  Kamryn had many opportunities to play volleyball around the world and by the time she was 20 she had been to 20 countries playing volleyball for USAV and for BIP SE (a travel team made available by Bring IT Promotions LLC).  After playing at Clemson University and graduating early in three years with her Bachelors Degree in Political Science, she took her remaining year of eligibility and went to Armstrong State in Savannah, GA to pursue her Masters Degree where she graduated in the spring of 2015.  Kamryn then taught school at St David’s Catholic School in Davie, FL and coached at the nearby Wildfire Volleybal Club.  Having moved back to Jacksonville in July of 2017 Kamryn is now teaching Physical Education at Jacksonville Country Day School and coaching at her mother club, JJVA for the 15N John team.  Kamryn lives in Jacksonville with her pup, Watson.
