Meghan Magnusson


National Coach

Meghan Magnusson joins the JJVA family after spending the last four years as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the NCAA Division I level, working closely with the setters and overseeing team offensive systems.

While coaching at UNCW, Meghan had the privilege of coaching three All-Conference selections as well as two All-Rookie selections. In 2018, the Seahawks returned to the Colonial Athletic Association tournament for the first time since winning the tournament in 2015.

A former collegiate standout at the University of Tampa, Meghan earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) First-Team All-America honors twice, before playing professionally in Hungary (Bekescsabai RSE) and in Sweden (Ljungby VBK and Gislaved VBK).

As a high school student, Meghan traveled internationally with Bring it Promotions competing in Europe, South Africa, Nicaragua, and the South Pacific. Meghan was a three-time FHSAA All-State performer at Nease HS, selected to the USA Volleyball High Performance program in 2004 and 2005, and competed with ZOK Mislinja at the European Global Challenge in 2006.
