Entering her second season as a JJVA Coach, this season Coach Mia will be serving as a Head Coach for JJVA Regional Program for JJVA 13R Mia. Mia played for the club for five years and has previously been coaching in the JJVA Local, Mini Club, and TAP programs. As a four year starter at Fletcher High School Mia earned MVP and All-Conference Tea honors after earning 1,000 career assists and leading the state of FL in aces. During her time at Fletcher the team won the conference championship three times, earned a district title, and made two state playoff appearances. While playing as an athlete here at JJVA, Mia competed in two USAV Girls Junior National Championship Tournament teams. After high school, Mia went on to compete at Florida State College of Jacksonville for one season, in which the team defeated #1 nationally ranked Miami-Dade College, and finished third overall in the state of Florida for NJCAA-DI.
