Virtual Training Program


In response to the COVID-19 situation surrounding the globe, JJVA has dedicated its resources to provided online training for all members during this time of quarantine.

Our approach to this online training includes four elements of focus: Physical, Volleyball Skill, Volleyball IQ, and Social.

Physical

As an organization we have decided that it is important during this time that all of our athletes have access to quality physical training videos and workouts in order to continue to promote both a healthy lifestyle and athletic growth.

Volleyball Skill

JJVA also believes that it is important that athletes have the ability to continue to develop individual volleyball skills instructed by our staff coaches in the following key areas: Passing, Setting, Serving, Attacking, Blocking.

Volleyball IQ

During this time we are going to be dedicated significant time and resources to further developing the athlete volleyball IQ or mental understanding of the game. Elements in this area will include an review of skill based cues and concepts, skill/system philosophies, and skill/system strategies.

Social

We are extremely proud of our JJVA family atmosphere that has been a staple of our programs for many years. As an organization we will be continuing to help connect coaches, players, and families to one another virtually in order to share in the fun of what it means to be a JJVA athlete.
